Megan (Meg) Haselden is the founder of Constellation Tax, a virtual tax and accounting firm based in the remote Keweenaw Peninsula. Meg specializes in Income Taxes, Business Advisory Services, and Non-Profit Consulting.
About
Meg received her MS in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and holds a BA in Arts Management from Chatham University, both with cum laude honors. She has earned the Enrolled Agent designation from the US Department of Treasury and is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce and BPOE Lodge #404. Meg is on the Board of Directors of The Calumet Theatre Co and currently serves the Village of Calumet as Village Manager.
With a passion for numbers and art, Meg focused on growing a holistic accounting firm, accessible to artists, small non-profits, and unique start-ups. She takes pride in helping non-profit directors and small business owners navigate compliance, brainstorm new ideas and develop an understanding of tax and audit requirements.
Outside of the "office", is ever changing for someone like Meg, but lately, she can be found exploring the magical Keweenaw Peninsula with her husband and camera in tow.
Fun Fact
Meg has a few rather large collections including of vinyl records, old-school cameras, and every pair of eyeglasses she's ever worn. Her favorite collection is of Star Trek action figures!
Favorite Food
Meg is very adventurous and loves to try new foods and creative cocktails. Her tastes are always changing and evolving, she'll rarely order the same thing twice, and she hates ordering the same dish as others in her party.
Family & Pets
Meg has a rad and supportive husband, she considers her siblings some of her best friends, and she hopes to eventually become a proud Mom to one or several cats...and maybe some fish.
